Drawing with the Canvas Class

To paraphrase Casey Reas, many programming courses serve days and days of vegetables before you get to eat some dessert.

That is, it's common to see computer studies courses focus on theory and structure first, then get into generating graphical or interactive output.

Not in my course! Not in the Computer Studies program at Lakefield College School.

You are an artist and I encourage you to see your computer and programming as a medium for artistic expression.

Here's a short tutorial on how to generate high resolution output from the Canvas class.

More examples on how to learn to program by generating graphics coming soon.
